In this Britské listy Interview, Jan Čulík talks to Daniel Prokop, a well-known Czech sociologist, about the motivation of English citizens who have voted for Brexit, and about to what extent the frustration of the English is similar to the frustration of the citizens living in East Central Europe. Prokop quotes Slavoj Žižek who has warned that consensual EU policy feeds extremist movements, since people require adversarial politics. The interview discusses which attitudes might re-introduce adversarial politics into the European Union in order to remove irrationality from contemporary European public discourse. The interview was broadcast by the Czech cable TV station Regionální televize from Friday 22nd July 2016
