Coal Bed Methane (CBM) is one of unconventional resource that shows great promise forfuture energy needs, especially in Indonesia, which has a quite large potential. However, oneof the most important things from CBM research is the gas content. Gas content used todetermine the potential and reserves of CBM. In addition, the characteristics of coal are animportant factor in understanding the quality and quantity of gas content.
