This research was conducted to resolve the problem electric energy crisis by developing a small-size generators using permanent magnets neodymium ferrite boron (NdFeB), which can be used as device to utilized renewable energy. Three phase axial flux permanent magnet generator (AFPMG) was designed which has low speed, with double rotor and single stator. This generator is deemed most appropriate because in addition to only requiring low speed, but also a relatively low manufacturing cost, lightweight construction, and a more compact form which can support better utilization of renewablwe energy such as microhydro or wind.
