The information about Javan Gibbon is very diverse but less depth on the behavior of home range use in Sokokembang Forest, Pekalongan, Central Java. Javan gibbon group in using environmental resources available in its home range and hierarchically performed to survive. Hence, there are formed an area with various animal presence intensity within home range.The purposes of this study are to know home range, determine the differences of the environment characteristics (biotic and abiotic) and the behavior of Javan Gibbon group in home range with it�s presence in high intensity (core area) and low intensity.
