Osmoregulation is process to maintain balance of water and electrolytes concentration inside body. Each habitat has its own characteristic of environmental conditions. This research was conducted to examine the histological structure of ren, ureter, and kloaka of Common Rat Snake Ptyas mucosa and Black-banded Sea Krait Pseudolaticauda semifasciata. Common Rat Snake represented terrestrial snake whereas Black-banded Sea Krait represented marine snake. Total length and body weight of both snakes (female adult size) was measured. Snakes were euthanized with chloroform inhalation. Ren, ureter, and kloaka were submerged into fixative solution (neutral buffered formaline 10%).
