The library is a means for the students to support their learning activity. The higher the academic activity of the students, then the higher the demands will be on-site at the library. The convenience of the users of the library must be fulfilled in order to support all activities within it. This research aims to study the library building energy consumption in energy saving but still gives priority to convenience for its users. This research uses EnergyPlus version 8.1.0.009 for 32-bit to simulate Central Library Gadjah Mada University Building L1 energy consumption.
