MANAJEMEN PEMELIHARAAN AYAM SPESIFIK ANTIBODI NEGATIF (SAN) DI BALAI BESAR VETERINER WATES (BBVET-WATES) YOGYAKARTA

The purpose of this thesis is structured maintenance management to determine specific chicken antibody negative (SAN) at the Experimental Animal Cage Installation (IKHP), BBVet-Wates. Animal cage installation as part of BBVet-Wates duty to meet the needs of animals and animal products for testing or experiments in laboratories in BBVet-Wates. Data collection was done by direct observation and interviews with competent sources. From the data taken at the practice field (PKL) on 10-14 March 2014 can be seen that the chicken SAN in BBVet-Wates, is kind of laying hens (layers). SAN chickens maintenance as well as conventional chicken, but the chicken was not vaccinated at all SAN to get a negative antibody titer. Disease control process carried out with strict biosecurity. Kerbesihan henhouse SAN environment BBVet-Wates, still less because a lot of bushes and less diperhatiakan, but for chicken SAN maintenance management, which includes the preparation of the enclosure (dry period), Day Old Chicken (DOC) came, brooding, grower period, period layer, housing, food and drink, egg management, and control of disease in BBVet-Wates pretty good
