ANALISIS KERENTANAN PERMUKIMAN TERHADAP TERJADINYA BAHAYA KEBAKARAN DI KECAMATAN PONTIANAK SELATAN, KOTA PONTIANAK, KALIMANTAN BARAT

Subdistrict South Pontianak is a district with a high economic activity in the city of Pontianak. With the high economic activity that causes the direction of building settlements in the district are 1445 hectares total area is also growing. The high activity of the urban population, will lead the chance of fires in urban areas become larger. In addition, the increase in population growth led to an increase in the number the higher the settlement demand. Analysis of the level of vulnerability of settlements against fire based on the theory postulated by several experts, which Davidson (1997), Oetomo (2007), Mantra (2005), Kumpulainen (2006), and Cutter (2009) regarding the vulnerability of settlements. Furthermore, in the analysis process using the program ArcGIS 10.1 is based on the spatial analysis and network analysis to obtain new information about the vulnerability of settlements to fire blocks neighborhoods used in the analysis and will be contained neighborhoods 86 blocks are used to measure the vulnerability of a fire in the District of South Pontianak. The results of this research is the analysis of the vulnerability can be obtain maps of settlements, firefighters outreach map, and maps of potential fire disaster. From the analysis, if the susceptibility correlated with the incidence of fires that occurred in 2011-2012 was prone areas are areas with high population and building materials is dominated by material type semi-permanent and nonpermanent. After that outreach be overlaid with the fire department found that the range of services also indirectly affect the level of vulnerability. From these results be used as a recommendation to the government for consideration to make the concept of a fire disaster mitigation in vulnerable settlements fire disaster
