This study observed on parent involvement in guide their children when watching television. Parent involvement observed based on healthy television viewing patterns that proclaimed by KIDIA! This healthy television viewing patterns consist of viewing time limitation, program determination, and parent mentoring. Data were collected by spreading questionnaires in public and private elementary schools in Caturtunggal Village, Sleman, DI Yogyakarta. Descriptive data showed that student parent in Caturtunggal Village still active in guiding their children television viewing
