KOMPARASI IDEOLOGI HIZBUT TAHRIR INDONESIA DAN IDEOLOGI PANCASILA (RELEVANSINYA DENGAN KONTEKS MASYARAKAT MULTIKULTURAL)

The reformation in indonesia in 1998 brought great changes. The laws of mass organization which had insisted each mass organizations to agree with Pancasila was revoked. The consequence of such condition is the emergence of many mass or politic organizations with various ideologies. One of the movements emerging is Hizbut Tahrir which has Islam as the ideology. Hizbut Tahrir was founded by Taqiyudin An-Nabhani with an ideal to uphold khilafah with Islam ideologyand eliminate all of ideologies which are not based on Islam. In context of Indonesia, that matter can cause the clash of ideology between Pancasila and the ideology of Hizbut Tahrir which is able to lead to problems. Therefore, it is determined the objectives of this study, which areto compare the ideolody of Hizbut Tahrir to Pancasila ideology and to seek the relevance of the ideology comparation in context of Indonesian people which are multicultural. This study is a literature research by taking the data from various written sources like: magazines and books related to the object studied. Methodological elements used in this study are description, historical continuity, idealization, interpretaion, comparation, and critical analysis. The result of this research are, the first, Hizbut Tahrir has Islam ideology with aim to rebuild the islamic glory through the system of khilafah. The second, Pancasila ideology was made as a consensus for the unity of all indonesian people who have a sense of kinship with the collective ideals to live in a unified,sovereign, fair, and prosperous country. The third, Indonesia which is multi-cultural needs an ideology which is able to accommodate the whole aspirations coming from various groups of people in the country. Thus, Pancasila as an inclusive ideologyis more appropriate to be applied in Indonesia if it is compared to the exclusive Hizbut Tahrirideology
