Introduction: Unmet need is a group of fertile women that are actually do not want to become pregnant currently, in purpose of giving birth spacing or limiting the number of the children but they do not use contraception to prevent the pregnancy. Unmet need has increased the risk of death to mothers in Indonesia because of the unsafe abortion. Objective: This research is aimed to gain the deep information about the reasons causing the unmet need behaviour viewed from psychological and interpersonal aspects.
