The suseptibility of cobalt ferrite ( CoFe2O4) magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) coated by polyethylene glycol have been investigated by using Gouy method with various concentration of 25%, 33%, 50%, 66%, 75%. The susceptibility of CoFe2O4 are affected by PEG-4000 coating concentrate. The higher the concentration of the added PEG-4000, will cause decrease in the value of the magnetic susceptibility of cobalt ferrite. The result of suseptibility based on concentration of coating PEG-4000 are (3,9 ± 0,2) 10-7 m3 /K
