Chronic liver disease encompasses a large number of conditions having different etiologies and existing on a continum between chronic hepatitis and cirrhosis. Liver cirrhosis is characterized by fibrosis that results in the form of nodules and alter liver function. Lok Index score is non-invasive prosedure that can predict fibrosis. Hyaluronic acid increases with the progression of fibrosis and is associated with the degree of fibrosis and inflammation.
