Wound is the loss of continuity of tissue structure. Wound healing is an attempt to repair damaged tissue, one of which parameter is the number of fibroblast. Guava leaves (Psidium guajava Linn.) containing flavonoid particularly quercetin and saponin has a role to enhance the process of wound healing. The aim of this study was to know the effect of topical application of guava leaves (Psidium guajava Linn.) extract gel on the number of fibroblast in the wound healing process of gingival Sprague dawley rats.
