This final report discusses the implementation of protection and security of izin sewa-menyewa tanah kas desa as vital records in Dinas Pengendalian Pertanahan Daerah Kabupaten Sleman. The implementation of protection and security of izin sewa-menyewa tanah kas desa as vital records was started from the protection method which was used and its security. The purpose is to analyze the implementation of protection and security of vital records in Dinas Pengendalian Pertanahan Daerah Kabupaten Sleman. The data were collected by interviewing some employees who worked on the object which was being studied, taking a part in the protection and security of vital records, and collected the theories from various sources of data, literature, and books which are related to the problems studied. These methods were used to get the correct and accurate data. The conclusion of this final report is Dinas Pengendalian Pertanahan Daerah Kabupaten Sleman has been done the protection and security of vital records but it was not good. In the implementation of the protection and security of vital records, the problems faced are the limited facilities and infrastructure which is used, the lack of compliance with existing standards, and the lack of knowledge in the field of archives archivis
