Museum is an effective educational media to learn about our cultural and nation histories. Museum Batik Yogyakarta is one of private museums in Yogyakarta. Its visitors increases every year, yet it can not cover its operational costs. The purpose of this research is to identify factors affecting its unability to cover operating cost. Data are collected through interview s and distributing questionairies. Technique analysis used are SWOT, importance performance analysis (IPA), customer satisfaction index (csi), and strategy change cycle are used to analyse it.
