SENSOR VISUAL UNTUK MENDETEKSI ZONA POSISI MANUSIA DI DALAM RUANGAN

HVAC system (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) consumed approximately 55% of total energy consumption in a building. One of the devices used in the HVAC system is the air conditioner (AC). At present, AC which can detect human movement is already developed. However, it is still not take into account the human aspects of distribution and occupancy in the room. To create environmentally friendly and energy efficient green building, but still feel comfortable for the occupants in it, an artificial intelligence system is needed to detect the spread and occupancy of huma in the room as the information to control the AC. In this study, the first step is the detection of an empty room and occupied room. The next process is binarization to obtain a binary image and highlight of the objects. And then, the labelling was done to classify the same pixel value and reduce pixel�s noise. Center of gravity is used as object information. By doing tracking in real boundary zone, a linear equation which is a boundary zone of images was obtained. With the information of center of gravity and object�s pixel size, the position of the zone and occupancy of human in the room can be obtained. The variables which included in this study are : human height, position of the camera, position of the zone, and the number of occupants. The experiment results showed success rates of human position detecetion zone. The success of the detection zone with the camera positioned on the front and sample height 0f 150-159 cm is 83%, sample height of 170-179 cm is 38%, and sample height of 180-189 cm is 53%. The success of the detection zone with the camera positioned on a corner with sample height of 150-159 is 66%, sample height of 170-179 cm is 61%, and sample height of 180-189 cm is 66%. As for the position detection zone with two occupants, success rate with camera positioned on the front is 63.6% dan 53.5% with the camera positioned on the corner
