MODEL PENYELESAIAN KONFLIK LAHAN PERKEBUNAN DESA SEJAGUNG KABUPATEN BANYUASIN PROVINSI SUMATERA SELATAN

Banyuasin district is one of the rubber-producing districts and the largest palm oil in South Sumatra. Banyuasin district has a plantation land conflict issues in some regions over the growing activities in the plantation sector. One of them occurred in the village which is located in the District Rantau Bayur. The objectives of this study were: (1) Explaining the background to the causes of conflict between Balai Penelitian Sembawa with Rural Community Sejagung (2) Explain models conflict resolution from land plantations Balai Penelitian Sembawa and Rural Community Sejagung. This qualitative research unit specializing in the analysis of a case plantation land at the village Sejagung where data collection is intended to identify information-rich cases to be studied in depth. From the cases which are rich in information can be learned about the important issues of the conflict identification plantations and conflict resolution for completion the conflict and then find a model. Research Result shows the background of the conflict caused by the influence of plantation activities for socio-economic change in the village Sejagung. Models conflict resolution in the village plantations Sejagung through several approaches : a) Alternative approaches that discussion and mediation, b) Administrative approach through field observation and repeated measurements by BPN (National Land Agency), and c) the last step through the legal approach to accommodate if there are those who still are not satisfied with the results of the review field and field measurement
