This graduating paper analyzes the view contained in the film Fight Club. from the analysis it can be divided into two main ideas. The first is on how consumerism has mislead humankind away from their true goals, and the second idea is on the solution to help the humankind from the influence of consumerism with a series of inner and external alterations on the lifestyle of the modern society. This study manages to reveal the idea and views that is contained in the film through the help of few theories in the field of film semiotics, consumerism and also both popular and art film
