PENGARUH LATIHAN PASRAH DIRI TERHADAP KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PENDERITA INFEKSI HUMAN IIMMUNODEFICIENCY VIRUS (HIV)/ACQUIRED IMMUNE DEFICIENCY SYNDROME (AIDS)

Given the longevity achievable with current prophylactic and therapeutic strategies for persons with HIV infection, quality of life (QOL) has emerged as a significant medical outcome measure, and its enhancement has an important goal. Complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) include Latihan Pasrah Diri may seem safe to improve quality of life in HIV/AIDS patients. The design of this study was quasi experimental study, participant include outpatient and inpatient at RSUP Dr. Sardjito, Yogyakarta. They were aged > 18 years. After scoring with WHOQOL-Bref for assessment quality of life, participant allocated into two groups, with and without Latihan Pasrah Diri program. WHOQOL-Bref quistionaire was evaluated 1 cycle of program. The results will be analyze by a computerization using the Independent t test if data distribusion was normal and Mann Whitney test if data distribusion was not normal to determine diffrence of mean score of WHOQOL-Bref in group with LPD and without LPD were compared between the beginning and end of the study.
