This study aims to analyze the contamination of lead, copper and cadmium in Jakarta Bay, to analyze the relationship between sediment with phytoplankton growth, T. chuii and abnormalities A. beccari and to analyze the spatial distribution of metal contamination in Jakarta Bay. Sediment samples were taken using Mc Smith Intrye, and analyzed for metals using AAS. Bioassay sediment conducted during 96 hour exposure to phytoplankton, T. chuii. Secondary data like current, salinity and temperature were provided to analyze oceanographic condition of Jakarta Bay. Results showed that concentration of Pb, Cd, and Cu in Ancol and Sunter estuary was above standard value provided by the CCME (1995). Indonesia had not have sediment quality standards so ...
