ANALISIS DAN VISUALISASI PERUBAHAN SUHU LINGKUNGAN GENANGAN LUMPUR MENGGUNAKAN CITRA LANDSAT 7 ETM+ MULTITEMPORAL

Sidoarjo is a city that has a great potential in the field of industry, especially to Jawa Timur province. In addition to its strategic location, easy road access is very supportive to the growth of this city. As already known, since May 29 in 2006, Sidoarjo was striken by mudflow disaster from the deep earth to the surface due to drilling activities by Lapindo Brantas. Inc. The purpose of this study is to determine the temperature of the area around mud flow disaster and its changes from year by year. This study used Landsat 7 satellite image data ETM + that offers Thermal Infrared band, temperature extraction on the Thermal Infrared band can be done by using remote sensing image processing technology. Steps that are used to analyze the temperature�s changes in this study include: 1) Changing the pixel values in the image into spectral radiance values, 2) Changing the spectral radiance values into radian temperature value, 3) Changing the value of the radian temperature to the kinetic temperature value, 4) Overlaying images from year to year to determining the temperature changes that occur in those years (using the Change Detection Algorithm). Those steps are performed based on a formula set by NASA (The National Aeronautics and Space Administration) that are used to determine the temperature�s value for the presentation about urban heat temperature mapping by satellite imagery that has Thermal Infrared bands. Results of this study were the display of temperature�s changes of area around mudflow disaster from year 2007 to year 2009 along with the results of the analysis of their changes. Based on these results, the temperature rises in that area every year. The temperature of nearer areas measured from mud flow�s center found higher when it compared with the temperature of other areas
