ANALISIS KINERJA SISTEM PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA HIBRID (ANGIN DAN SURYA) DI PANTAI BARU PANDANSIMO BANTUL YOGYAKARTA

Renewable energy sources are an alternative energy solution to overcome the electricity crisis in Indonesia. The Hybrid Power Plant (PLTH) in Pantai Baru Pandansimo Bantul Yogyakarta is a pilot project based on the potential of solar energy and wind power. It has been used as model in the development of renewable energy and integrated development of renewable energy in a Regional Innovation Systems (SIDA). Performance of a hybrid power system can be evaluated in terms of reliability system and economic. The hybrid system is a multi variable system. The HOMER (Hybrid Optimization Model for Electric Renewable) version 2.68, a micropower optimization modeling software was used to analyze data in renewable energy sources. The software optimizes the design of hybrid power system based on the value of the lowest NPC with an estimated output size or capacity of the system, and costs. The configuration of PLTH Pandansimo consist of a photovoltaic module and wind turbines. The analysis system PLTH Pandansimo was done through two system modeling namely Off-Grid and On-Grid. The first, the result analysis show that the system of PLTH Off-Grid is feasible in meeting the user�s needs of electrical energy, based on the total Net Present Cost (NPC) of US$ 307,302, Cost of Electricity (COE) of US$ 0.872 perkWh, electricity production capacity of 121,239 kWh per year, and it has the excess of electricity during the year amounted to 94,705 kWh. The second, the configuration system in PLTH On-Grid can improve the effectiveness of PLTH Pandansimo in the utilization of renewable energy sources that can reduce NPC to US$ 253,850, COE is US$ 0.720 perkWh and ability to sell electricity for 94,705 kWh per year. it can reduce CO2 emission factor about by 31,557 kg per year
