Breastfeeding milk and infant formulas are the main nutritional source for babies under six months. The main component carbohydrate for breastfeeding milk is lactose. Infant formulas have a lower lactose level than breastfeeding milk that needs sugar addition to balance carbohydrate level with breastfeeding milk. The purpose of this research is to know the difference effects of breastfeeding and infant formulas feeding towards babies� salivary degree of acidity (pH). Subjects were 30 babies aged 4 to 6 months divided into two groups consisting breastfeeding and infant formulas with 15 babies each.
