Background : Both kembang bulan leave [Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsley) A. Gray] and turmeric rhizome (Curcuma domestica Val.) have bioactive compound which are an anticancer drug candidate. However, in vivo study about the effect of those to liver function and kidney function has never been carried out. Objectives : To examine active compound in kembang bulan leave extract and turmeric rhizome extract by thin layer chromatography (TLC) method.
