PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP TENTANG HIV/AIDS DAN PERILAKU SEKS PRANIKAH REMAJA PROVINSI DIY (Analisis Data SKRRI 2007 dan Survei Indikator Kinerja RPJMN Program Kependudukan dan KB Nasional Indonesia Tahun 2011)

HIV / AIDS is a problem related to sexual behavior and reproductive health. There is a tendency to an increase in premarital sexual behavior in adolescents is not matched by sufficient knowledge about reproductive health including HIV / AIDS. This causes teens to be the most vulnerable groups affected by HIV / AIDS. Teens often do not acquire information, knowledge, and skills related to HIV / AIDS. In addition, adolescence is a time when many young people usually want to try to have sex. The younger generation is also the world's best hope in the fight against HIV / AIDS. This study wanted to examine knowledge about HIV/AIDS and attitudes toward people living with HIV and adolescent premarital sex behaviour in Yogyakarta Special region. To that end, this study formulated four research questions, namely: (1) How about the knowledge of HIV/AIDS and attitudes towards people living with HIV in adolescents in Yogyakarta Special Region by background characteristics, (2) How about the knowledge of HIV/AIDS and attitudes towards people living with HIV in adolescents in Yogyakarta Special Region in premarital sexual behavior, (3) What the sources of information about HIV/AIDS is most often accessed by adolescents in Yogyakarta Special Region, and (4) What factors that influence adolescent premarital sexual behavior in Yogyakarta. This study used data Adolescent Reproductive Health Survey Indonesia (IYARHS) in 2007 and equipped with RPJMN Performance Indicators Survey Population and Family Planning Programs publication data in 2011. There are 792 young people in Yogyakarta Special Region form IYARHS data as study respondents. Data analysis was performed using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analyzes. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the area of residence affect access to information, knowledge, and attitudes toward the phenomenon of HIV/AIDS and people living with HIV/AIDS. This indicates the flow distribution and flow of information is not distributed across regions (urban and rural) in Yogyakarta in particular, thus potentially prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS nationwide. Characteristics by sex, age and education as internal factors that affect the level of knowledge about HIV/AIDS and attitudes towards people living with HIV/AIDS. Television became the media most often accessed by adolescents to get information about HIV/AIDS than radio or newspapers or magazines. Tesebut because television has advantages compared with other media, which among others are able to spread the word quickly and has the ability to reach audiences in big quantity at the same time. Binary logistic regression analysis showing that the area of residence, sex, dating and peer experiences significantly influence adolescent premarital sexual behavior (pvalue < 0,05)
