Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) converts a low temperature heat source into electrical energy by using a hydrocarbon refrigerant as a working fluid. Solar source has the advantage as a heat source because the heat obtained is free and be able to be used in very conservative applications. In this study, Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is designed based on experimental results compared to additional recuperator and varied on a particular pump pressure. In addition, the temperature difference of heat exchanger is optimized. On the modelling, R245a is used as a working fluid with Cycle-Tempo as a used media software.
