Analisis Hubungan Dinamis antara Pengangguran dan Kewirausahaan di Negara Berkembang Kawasan ASEAN, 1998-2009

The aim of this research is to investigate the dynamic relationship between unemployment and entrepreneurship in ASEAN developing countries. On one hand, the increasing of the entrepreneurship affects the decreasing of the unemployment, this negative relationship called �Schumpeter effect�. On the other hand, the more unempleyment leads to the more entrepreneurship, this positive relationship called �refugee effect�. This paper uses annual unemployment rate and entrepreneurship rate data from 1998 to 2009 in Indonesia, Thailand, and Malaysia to reconcile that relationship. EViews 7 is used to estimate the panel data with Vector-Auto-Regressive (VAR) model. It is found that refugee effect exist in ASEAN developing countries, but Schumpeter effect does not exist
