The study was conducted to determine how much the potential of marine fisheries in Southeast Maluku regency, about criminal enforcement of fisheries in Southeast Maluku regency and the role of customary law and / or local wisdom due to preventing perpetrators of illegal fishing. The research in this paper used this type of normative empirical legal research which is located in Southeast Maluku Maluku.
