Background: According to data from Indonesia Demographic Health Survey (IDHS) 2007, MMR in Indonesia amounting to 228 per 100,000 live births, and infant mortality rate 34 per 1,000. Health profile data from the districts / cities in 2010 of a total of 39 068 live births in Bengkulu Provinsii contained 203 stillbirths and infant deaths by 387. Infant mortality rate per 1,000 live births and died in Bengkulu Province on the last three years experienced up and down which in 2007 was 10.45 per 1000 live births. Maternal and child mortality is largely occurred in the period surrounding labor and at delivery. The facts mentioned above encourage researchers to pass up an analysis of factors related to the mother's decision in the selection of auxiliary labor at home. Methods: This study is a survey research kuantatif analytical method using crosssectional study design. The study population was all women who have experienced childbirth at home in the Province of Bengkulu. This study sample is the entire sample are recorded in Riskesdas 2010. The variables in this study are two independent variables (factors predisposing and need factors) and dependent variable (home delivery). Study site is the province of Bengkulu. Results: The results of bivariate and multivariate analyzes in this study showed that predisposing factors (age, parity, knowledge of the high risk of pregnancy and childbirth), need factors (history of complications of pregnancy and labor and the number of �Ante Natal Care�(ANC)) visits on, significantly associated with the selection of home helpers labor (p<0,005). On multivariable and bevariabel analysis. in interpreting mother with age < 20 & � 35 years (RP: 1,95 : 95% CI : 1.901-8.302) risk to choose home delivery help of non-medical 1,95 times from at choosing medical help, mother with parity > 1 times risk chooses home delivery help of non-medical 11,57 times from at choosing medical help, mother with low of knowledge of pregnancy and brith (RP: 1,81 : 95% CI : 1.802-7.425) risk to choose home delivery help of non-medical 1,81 times from at choosing medical, mother with history complication pregnancy and birth (RP: 1,49 : 95% CI : 1.272-8.009) of risk to choose home delivery help of non-medical 1,49 times from at choosing medical, mother with number of visits ANC < 4 times (RP: 1,98: 95% CI : 2.621-11.637) risk to choose home delivery help of non-medical1,98 times from at choosing madical. Conclusion: In-Need predisposing factors have a significant relationship with the selection of home helpers in childbirth in women in the province of Bengkulu
