This study aims to analyze interregency/city development pattern seen from economic development and human development trends, and to analyze disparity and convergence in HDI as an indicator of human development and in each forming component interregency/city in East Java Province during the period of 2004-2010. The analysis intruments used are regional typology, Gini Coeficient and Enthrophy Theil Index, sigma (�) convergence and beta (�) convergence, using data panel regression technique.
