A study concerning the creation and characterization of composites of nata de coco fiber and hemp fiber with epoxy resin as an alternative raw material of industry. The use of nata de coco fiber and hemp fiber in this study is a fiber that has undergone a process of drying (water-free). Prior to the manufacture of composites, fibers undergo chemical treatment in order to obtain high mechanical properties in composites. Chemical treatment of the nata de coco fiber by adding NaOH at a concentration of 1-5% (w / v) with the variation of time for 1-3 hours.
