This research is a feminism approach that aimed at revealing the roles of woman during the migration. It is conducted by studying the roles of woman in The Grapes of Wrathand it is equipped the relevant data with this research. The data taken from the novel is then analyzed by using feminist literary criticism that focus on the roles of woman either in family or in society represented in the novel. This is qualitative descriptive research and thus presents the data interpretation through descriptive analysis. The material object of the research is the novel itself.
