PENILAIAN CADANGAN MINYAK DAN GAS BUMI DENGAN METODE NET ASSET VALUE

Oil and gas reserves are a vital part of the oil and gas companies. Discovery of these reserves involves exploration activity that requires huge costs. Funding needs can be met from three sources namely, companies, creditors, and investors. Because it involves a third party, then the oil and gas reserves that have been found to be valued accurately, to represent the actual value of oil and gas reserves. Valuation methods that used to value these reserves can use the discounted cash flow or net asset value methods. These two methods then compared to determine which method to valued oil and gas reserves accurately. Estimate ultimate recovery method is used as a benchmark for both methods. This method is used to overcome the limitations in accessing data production oil well that has been depleted. Estimate ultimate recovery using 1P and 2P components as a component of determining the actual value of oil and gas reserves. Calculation of net asset value include discounted cash flow component that reflects the overall value of oil and gas reserves. Benchmark results show the value of the resulting net asset value method approaches the accuracy of the actual value of oil and gas reserves that valued by estimate ultimate recovery namely, 0,976�1
