The research concerns on the implementation of Community Based Forest Management Programs in Indonesia. It focuses particularly on the implementation of Community Forestry Program (HKm) in the Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta Province, Indonesia. This research uses three farmer�s group as case studies, namely Tani Manunggal, Sido Maju I and Sido Raharjo. This is an exploratory research utilized a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The research found that the implementation of the community foresty program in Gunungkidul regency, in accordance with applicable regulations.
