Analysis Perbedaan Kinerja Keuangan PT.Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero),Tbk Sebelum Dan Setelah Initial Public Offering (IPO) Periode tahun 1999-2008

Initial Public Offering or IPO is a stock offering by the company for the first time to the community, and is one of the ways used by companies to obtain additional capital that is useful for the development of the company. The advantage of the IPO is the company will obtain the additional capital is relatively easier and more companies will be automatically recognized by the public. While the loss of the IPO is a company must publish regular financial statements to the public. The study was conducted to analyze the differences that occur in the financial performance of PT. Bank Rakyat Indoneia (PERSERO), Tbk between 5 years before the IPO to 5 years post-IPO period 1999-2008. Banking financial ratios are used as variables in this study is the capital adequacy ratio (CAR), return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), net interest margin (NIM), the operational costs of operating income (BOPO), loan to deposit ratio (LDR), and non-performing loan (NPL). Data analysis of financial ratios by using different test methods on average for the sample unpaired t be done by comparing the calculated t value with the value t tables. As well as two-party testing to see whether or not an increase or decrease in the performance of the studied variables The results showed that only the ratio of NIM, BOPO, and LDR which showed improvement. While the CAR variables, NPL, ROA, and ROE do not show significant improvement
