The Trade Related Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPs) Agreement, concluded as part of the Uruguay Round of multilateral trade negotiations, is a particularly ambitious international agreement in that aims to seta common floor for intellectual property protection in all World Trade Organization (WTO) members.
