The development of informal sector activities in the city are caused by lack of availability of formal jobs and due to the impact of the economic crisis that led the shrank of formal employment. The street vendors is identified with the impression rundown, dirty and cause traffic disruptions. This study aimed to know the characteristics and perceptions of street vendors, as well as the public perception of the existence of street vendors. By studying the behavior of street vendors, we can propose better plans and arrangements of the street. is a This descriptive study, utilized qualitative and quantitative analysis and also frequency distribution analysis. The sample of the research covers the street vendors from three locations and the the customers. Based on the analysis, this study found that street vendors in select the crowded places so that they can sell merchandise quickly. The street vendors in the three location tend to cluster based on the similarity of their activities. The problem are that they cause traffic disruptions. This Studu recommend that there is a need to provide guidance to vendors, make arrangements to street vendors operating hours. If the relocation is needed then it must based on their characteristics
