The amount of solid waste in Biak Town is increasing due to the development of Biak Town as the centre of economic growth in Biak Numfor regency. A lot of garbage are dumped into rivers, irrigation canals, yards, while transported to landfill and range of services is still limited. The research aims to describe the conditions of solid waste management system already, and measure how much the government's performance in managing such waste. This research is consists of 11 villages based on Biak town planning and using qualitative and quantitative description methodology with normative standard and frequency analysis.
