PERKAWINAN MASYARAKAT HUKUM ADAT PEPADUN DAN SAIBATIN DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP HUKUM WARIS DI TIYUH GEDUNG MENONG, KECAMATAN NEGERI AGUNG, KABUPATEN WAY KANAN PROPINSI LAMPUNG

The objective of this research was analyzing the factors that caused the mixedmarriage between indigenous people from Pepadun and Saibatin in Negeri Agung sub-district. The second objective was to find out which Inheritance Law that was applied by the society who performed the matrimony between those two Indigenous People. This research used descriptive-analysis method, meaning to give a picture of the object�s situations which was based on the data. The respondents of this research were 14 (fourteen) people: 10 (ten) people that committed a matrimony between the two Indigenous People and 4 (four) peoples that are the descendant of that sort of matrimony. The sampling technique was non-probability sampling, especially purposive sampling. The data analysis used qualitative method. In addition, the conclusion of this research used the inductive-logic approach. The result of this research showed the common factors that lead the matrimony of the two Indigenous Peoples were: environment, religion, acculturation, spouse, and �penyimbang�. The Inheritance Law used by the spouse of miscegenation matrimony between indigenous people from Pepadun and Saibatin in Negeri Agung sub-district was patrilineal system. However, there were some that used the Islamic Inheritance Law with the bilateral-individual system
