INFERIORITAS DAN MIMIKRI: KAJIAN POSKOLONIAL TERHADAP LIRIK LAGU-LAGU POPULER MALUKU PERIODE TAHUN 2000-2010

The purpose of this study is to explain the relationship between the history of colonialism in the Moluccas and the uniqueness of its relationship with in the Netherlands post-colonial issues of inferiority and mimicry that are represented in the lyrics of popular songs. This goal is done through a deconstructive analysis of the relationships built up in the text. The theory used is post-colonial literary theory that emphasizes the effects of colonialism on colonized peoples text production, theory of the inferiority and mimicry as a form of identification in a connection with the lyrics of popular songs as a site of hegemony. The results of the analysis are briefly described as follows. Perspectives in the text awakened by the relationship between male or female Moluccan with each other, with the Netherlands, including the diaspora, and between the diaspora in Netherlands to the Moluccas. Relationships built up in the lyrics of popular songs between the Moluccas and the Netherlands are hierarchical and dominative, contradictory relations, and equal relations. In such relationships there are traces of inferiority and mimicry in the Moluccas as a tension between the real world and the Netherlands as the ideal world for the characters. In general, the presence of these texts to deconstruct romanticism as a common discourse that is built up in it. Although the relationship between the characters, as described in the text, indicate the existence of union between the real world and ideal world respectively, in principle, both worlds apart so that union was ultimately only a dream. In the tension between real and ideal world that's inferiority and mimicry find its form. Mimicry in this case is done not in an effort to make resistance, but rather to identify themselves as Dutch as an ideal, and to hide the inferiority of the figures behind compliance. In the end, both mimicry and inferiority confirms the existence of a residual form of hegemony that is built up due to the Dutch colonial historicity of the affiliative between the two parties supported by the existence of the diaspora
