The need for market in a city is essential in meeting the needs of the population. In 2006, the Government of West Bangka Regency built traditional markets to relocate the old market. The objective of this study is to identify impacts arising from new market shift towards surrounding area and to identify factors that influence spatial effects, with Muntok traditional market as locus. The research was conducted using qualitative and deductive methods and data collection was conducted by secondary survey, observation, and interviews with the research variabels of the study are physical and economy.
