Characteristics of Epithermal Quartz Veins at Baturappe Area, Gowa, South Sulawesi: An Implication to Base Metal Exploration

The research area located in Baturappe area of Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, is a hydrothermal mineralization district characterized by base metal veins. At least 20 units of 0.5-18 em thick quartz- Pb vein in basalt and porphyritic basalt are outcropped in the area, with general trends of north-northwest to northwest.
