The research area located in Baturappe area of Gowa Regency, South Sulawesi, is a hydrothermal mineralization district characterized by base metal veins. At least 20 units of 0.5-18 em thick quartz- Pb vein in basalt and porphyritic basalt are outcropped in the area, with general trends of north-northwest to northwest. The quartz veins display primary growth textures characteristics of episodic and multiphase, open-space precipitation, such as crustiform banding, symmetric banding, vugs, comb, crystalline, and saccharoidai.
