Pengaruh Latihan Pasrah Diri Terhadap Perbaikan Simtom Depresi Pada Pasien Kanker Payudara

The diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer often lead to depression. Depression management in breast cancer patients can give benefit. Good depression management will give impact to a better quality of life and towards the cancer. Hollistic management in breast cancer patients (physically and psychologically) is recommended. Psycotherapy is the best management for mild to moderate depression. Latihan pasrah diri is a part of psycotherapy. Latihan pasrah diri is a mind and body intervention therapy and has advantages compared to conventional antidepression drugs. This therapy can be done in a long time without worrying of the side effects and the cost. This trial aims to know the changes in depression symptoms of breast cancer patients after latihan pasrah diri management. The design of this study is randomized controlled trial. The subject of the study are breast cancer outpatients stage I-III in Tulip policlinic and or inpatients in RSUP Dr Sardjito. Statical analysis used to know the difference of the depression symptoms is independent t test.
