Arahan penataan kawasan bantaran sungai yang antisipatif terhadap bencana banjir :: Studi kasus bantaran sungai Code, Kawasan Cokrodirjan, Kelurahan Suryatmajan, Kecamatan Danurejan, Kota Yogyakarta

Code riverbank area in the central city of Yogyakarta is a dense settlement area which grow organically and is prone to annual flooding, especially during cold lava flood shipments from the area of Mount Merapi. Therefore we need a study that aimed to identify factors influence utilization of space in relation to the flood area, so the results can be used as consideration in the settlement and development of riverbank area in the downtown of Yogyakarta. This research uses rationalistic approach with qualitative deductive method. The research was initiated by holding the collection of the problems in the field based on the phenomenon that occurs and using a grand theory as a foundation in analyzing the locations selected to be synchronized with the banks of the River Code, Area Cokrodirjan, Suryatmajan Village, Danurejan District, Yogyakarta. The findings will answer the purposes of research and concluded that the factors that influence the utilization of space and elements of the area making an impact and contribution in increasing the area of disaster preparedness anticipatory flood. On the basis of these considerations, the design parameters and Cokrodirjan Area development plan, the banks of the River Code can be formulated. The output generated in this research were guidelines and regional development plans that show riverbank area anticipatory character of settlement areas against floods that can create areas of environmental regulation riverbank area and made safe as a potenstial flood area
