PERLINDUNGANHUKUMBAGI PE.IABATPEMBUATAKTATANAH (pPAT) BERKAITANDENGANKATA-AKTAYANG DIBUATNYA DIKOTA YOGYAKARTA

The research aims at identifying the training and monitoring for Land Deed Officials (pPAT) in performing their tasks, legal protection for PPAT, as well as legal measuresfor PPAT in relation with sanctions imposed upon them. The thesis adopts empiricaljuridical researchmethod.The data employed are primary and secondarydata. Secondary data were obtained through library study, while primary data were obtained through interview. The interviewswere conducted with the informants and respondents from Land Office and PPAT, of which their servicearea covers Yogyakarta Municipality.The analysis appliedin the research is qualitative method, which is analyzingthe data qualitatively and presentingthe results descriptively.Meanwhile,in order to make the conclusion for the research, deductive method was employed, which is making specific research conclusion.By using the method,the researchwas expectedto provide clear and holistic pictures on the appropriateness of conceptual principles used in research title. Training and monitoringfor PPAT were performedby Land Office and professional organization of PPAT namely Association of Land Deed Official (IPPAT), but so far in progress are only preventive training. Legal protection obtainedby PPAT concerning the deeds they madeare in the formsof warning or corrections fromL and Officeto avoidlegal problems related to the deedsmade by PPAT.Mean while,legal protection obtained throughI PPAT so far is only in the form of legal assistances which are preventive in nature given to PPAT when there is legal problem which does not have strong legal base yet One of legal measuresthat can be carriedout is by submittingobjectionsto Land Officeif the person concernedgets direct warning. In case of written warning, there has not been any legal measure taken. Whereas, in case of honorable and dishonorable termination,legal measurethat can be carriedout is submitting self defenseto the Minister
