Abstract: Sediment transport formula available in literature were generally developed based on two common conditions, i.e.: 1). for alluvial rivers with mild slopes and small size of bed materials, and 2). for mountain rivers with steep slopes and large size of bed materials. In parctice, however, there are also many rivers which do not follow the general rivers as explained above. The such "special" rivers are found in mountain regions, thus they have steep slopes, however their bed materials are small due to their mineral compositions.
