Background: This study aims to determine the difference between factors associated with the utilization of dental health service and patterns of dental health service management involved in Sardjito (public hospital) and Bethesda (private hospital). This study examined the demographic characteristics of dental outpatient in these hospitals. Several variables such as age, educational levels, income. distance. waiting time, and the perception of both fee and health service quality were examined. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative methods were used employing observational and in-depth interview method.
