Evaluasi Lahan Untuk Pengembangan Pariwisata (Studi di Kawasan Antara Gunung Merapi dan Merbabu)

ABSTRACT: This research of Evaluation of Land for Tourism Development Between Merapi and Merbabu Volcano Central Java aim to investigate the potentialities of land for tourism development in term of recreational activities and to establish and orientation in the development of recreation activities and areas in Selo Sub district of Boyolali Regency, Central Java. This research adopts an evaluation method based on a pragmatic geomorphologic approach with stratified random sampling on land units resulting from on overlay of the map of landform, slopes, soil, and land use with the aid of Geographical Information System (GIS). The data are analyzed by rating according to their attractive feature and land boundaries.
