ABSTRACT The current history shows that handicraft weaving art of silk traditional of Bugis Wajo (WSTB) has a relation with culture development. It is known that the types colour is affected by alcsara 'Iontara', such as four side figures called it suIluppa eppa walasuf . The descriptive method is applied by conducting interviews with people and finding some related data in departments. The problem is resolved by explaining the current conditions of the subject and object by comparing with the facts as they existed. Production of WSTB has changed in quality for years.
